Presenting " Lady's Kisses "

Baci di Dama or Lady's kisses, are traditional Italian cookies, originally from the region of Piedmont. Italian hazelnut kisses with a touch of chocolate.

I decided to bake these little desserts as they are some of my favorite cookies. They are now available in my little bakery, and you can get them, there will also be a free sampling event coming up soon. Just check it out here.

The ingredients are simple but some of the tastiest.
The most stringent taste in these little cookies, is the one of hazelnut. We used ground hazelnut, but can also be replaced by almond flour. The secret is to put the cookies in the oven while they are cold from the refrigerator so they will be crispy and crunchy.

We couldn't stop eating them...but we shared them with our neighbors, the kids seemed pretty happy with our decision.
They are great for holidays parties, little tea time gatherings, birthdays or cocktails.
